The Blood sampling sleeve is a device to be positioned on the arm of real person or of a manikin in order to practice a blood sampling or an injection in superficial veins of the elbow crease. It is composed of a flexible silicone sleeve, under which is positioned a support and a vein.
The vein itself is a consumable element, shaped like a “Y” to represent the most commonly used zones of puncture. It shall be filled with water using a syringe, and is endowed with a system of valves preventing any overflow and allowing an easy purge (to pe done when you fill the vein to prevent air bubbles)
The support of the vein is a semi-rigid plate endowed with a smooth shielding that will prevent needles from piercing the model, and will therefore protect the person wearing it.
