The Lumbar Spine range includes all the spine models from L5-Sacrum to L1-Sacrum (with and without hip bones, with and without nerve roots, with and without arteries).

We can add on request on yellow ligament, the supraspinous ligament, and the nerve roots.

A special model, with vena cava and aorta, is also available.

Again, we can provide mainly three types of texture:

Solid Foam (the most common): a spongious material, easy to drill, very realistic and quite economical

Resin (the most advanced): this new material is litteraly unbreakable! Harder than the solid foam, it sometimes has to be pre-drilled before delivery. But the sensations while placing the screws are great, and the longevity of the vertebrae, even after a multitude of workshops, is a valuable advantage.
(There is no reference yet for this Resin, but it is available on demand, do not hesitate to contact us!)

White Rigid Resin (the most aesthetic): This is a whiter and harder resin, very beautiful thanks to its "pure" white, but not recommended for workshops as it is difficult to work on. We would rather recommend the white rigid resin spines for exhibitions.

These three types of material can obviously be used for the Lumbar Spines that are included in our Spine Surgery Simulators.

An optional X-Ray Opac coating is also available, especially if you need these lumbar models in order to place them in one of our MIS Spine Surgery Simulator.

These models are compatible with Creaplast holders (ref: LSHA (anterior) & LSHP (posterior); please check out the "Holders" page for more information)
They can also be included in elastomere, which a flexible material quite useful for distraction and cage placement (ref: LSEA (anterior) & LSEP (posterior); please check out the "Elastomere inclusions" page for more information)
